The NCC Winter Karting League offers a competitive series of real races with 6.5HP Go Karts at Allsports Grand Prix from December to April. Beginning in January 2011 Allsports will offer a $5 discount for each League event for BMW CCA members! Each racer accumulates points based on finishing positions in multiple heat races. At the end of the season trophies are awarded to the overall champion and the two runners-up; to the three weight class champions, to the lady champion and the rookie of the year. Each Monday before the races, an email is sent out as a reminder to register at Motorsportreg.com for the following Sunday. If you'd like to be added to the Karting email list, contact Mike Saul at michael.s.saul@gmail.com.

For more experienced and new drivers alike the Karting League is an opportunity for real racing on a regular basis at a very reasonable cost. Experienced or new, all are welcome; come join us if you can.

If you've never been Karting before, you should not be intimidated. We sincerely invite you to come out. Newcomers learn very quickly and can do very well.
Racing is based on qualifying times, so you will race with and against those at about the same level. For more details about the track, the karts, and the facility go to AllsportsGP.

Only two! First, you need a valid driver's license. Second, you need a good attitude. We do not limit participation to BMW CCA member only everyone is welcome. This isn't a bumper-car ride at a county fair, and it isn't a feeder series for the Rahal-Letterman ALMS GT2 race team, but it is real racing competition. We follow the rules set by Allsports, show good sportsmanship, and respect our fellow racers. Rubbing is most definitely not racing. Allsports has helmets, drivers’ suits, everything you need. You can bring your own helmet and drivers’ suit if you like, but you can use Allsports Equipment free of additional charge.

League events will be held on Sunday afternoons during the winter on the schedule listed at the link below. Due to the popularity of the League and the limitations of the facility, we are limited to 30 drivers per event. Drivers intending to participate should register at Motorsportreg.com. ...

Events are typically held on Sunday afternoons. Drivers intending to participate should register at MotorsportReg.com. This gives us, and Allsports, an idea of who is committed to show up. Every Monday before a race the following Sunday an email will be sent out simply as a reminder of the upcoming race.

The Roundel Group follows the league and consists of a series of recreational karting meetings at Allsports every other Sunday throughout the remainder of the year. These races are for fun rather than points and are attended on an "as available" basis. The League or Roundel events are both great places to gain experience, become familiar with karting and have fun in a friendly atmosphere.
