The National Capital Chapter (NCC) of the BMW Car Club of America (BMW CCA) is in need of a volunteer to take on its marketing responsibilities. This position provides the opportunity to interact with some of the leading businesses in the automotive sales, repair, accessory, and support industries.

Requirements:
● Previous marketing and/or business development experience is necessary
● A strong desire to interact with sponsors
● A belief in the benefits offered by the BMW CCA and NCC in particular are a plus

Responsibilities:
● Developing the overall marketing, sponsorship, and communications strategies
● Identifying and securing new advertisers and sponsors for the club’s newsletter, website, email, and social media outlets
● Working with the der Bayerische (dB) newsletter staff to ensure ads are correct, timely, and current
● Marketing/sponsorship communications for all social media and membership growth activities

This position provides the leadership for the entire event planning process, acts as main event spokesperson, and recruit/motivate committee members and event volunteers.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the daily operations of all NCC programs
  • Works great with people
  • Ability to problem-solve on the fly
  • Good organizational skills and a can-do attitude is a must

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate event programs/activities across entire chapter
  • Generate sponsorships and vendor activities
  • Promote event to develop enthusiasm and full membership participation
  • Lead committee members and event volunteers to ensure proper training and communication
  • Develop event registration process

  • The proven ability to work well with others, handle tight deadlines, and by taking diversity into account, further deepen a sense of membership.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute cross-program activities for membership base
  • Welcome and orient new members into the NCC
  • Maintain social calendar and coordinate promotion with various club media (der Bayerische (dB) newsletter, website, social media, email blasts, etc)
