Ladies Do It Yourself (LDIY) Program Overview
This event is open to all members although ladies will have priority during the event.
Join us for our special ladies DIY led by Mary Snyder, a seasoned DIY’er, on understanding general maintenance including tire wellness, oil changes, and more.
Never worked on your car before? Then this is perfect beginner’s session that will allow you to demystify what you’ve been paying for and save you money at the same time.
There are typically several NCC members/DIY regulars on hand to assist each attendee. They’re ready work side by side with you guiding you through basic maintenance or assist when an extra pair of hands or advice is needed. We are happy to show newcomers the joys of working on your own car.
The Do It Yourself (DIY) program allows National Capital Chapter (NCC) BMW Car Club of America (CCA) Members to work on their own cars under the supervision of expert mechanics and technicians provided by the DIY Sponsor. The purpose of the DIY is to learn and practice proper maintenance and repair techniques that you can routinely complete within a two-hour time period.
This event runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Lunch for the event is provided by the club.
